Adoptions: As specialists in international adoptions, it is our pleasure to provide you with information regarding our Haitian Adoption Program. Hope For Families Haitian adoption program is specifically designed for the adoption of children in Haiti, as it takes into account the legal and logistical requirements of such an adoption. We are a non-profit Child Placing Agency (#19336300009) licensed in the State of Florida and regulated by the Florida Department of Children and Families. We provide international adoption services, adoption home studies, adoption education, adoption counseling, and post-placement interview services.

If you desire adoption, we will personally do our best to make your adoption a pleasant experience and fulfill your dream of quickly becoming a family! Our Haitian Adoption Program is a newly re-opened adoption opportunity that we hope will meet your request for children. The children from Haiti are of African American heritage and children from 6 months to 16 years are available, including sibling sets. The children are generally in good health and our orphanages are well maintained. Haiti orphanages generally want Christians to adopt their children as they hold strong religious beliefs. Haitian requirements limit adopting people to being 35 years old or more with no children in their home, and in addition married couples must be married for 10 years or more, but a presidential waiver may be requested to modify these rules.

Sponsorship of a Haiti Child ensures that they will have a future! Most Haitian children have been affected in a severe way by either AIDS occurring in a family member, earthquake or hurricane death of a family member. There is less than 1 doctor per 100,000 people in Haiti, and most medical care providers are 1st year interns. Make a difference for less than a dollar per day. Sponsor a child now!

Sponsorship: Our goal is to help you fulfill your mission of building a family through our ethical, profession and compassionate adoption services. Often, sponsorship of a child is the initial approach to fulfilling the child's needs. Although not all children are adoptable, you can sponsor them while you are considering adoption - or you just may wish to sponsor a child during his / her formative years. Sponsorship is a very real, tangible method of support and shows the child he is loved. Click here to sponsor a Haiti orphan.

Adoption Support: Throughout every part of the adoption process in Haiti, you will be assisted by our Haiti Program Director Ernst Pierre. He will help you in completing your dossier which is the compilation of the necessary paper and documents that Haiti requires to approve your adoption. Mr. Pierre coordinates our adoptions and visits with our orphanage, Faith in Love and Action, which is located in the Jacmel region of Haiti.

Ernst Pierre is licensed to practice law as a lawyer in Haiti since 1992 and a U.S. Paralegal that has lived in the US since 2003. Mr. Pierre has worked for the Haitian government as a legal adviser, for a United Nations mission in Haiti as a trainer in mediation and conflict resolution. He has also led many human rights and peace works with local and international NGOs and socio professional and religious organizations such as Mennonite Central Committee (MCC), Peace Brigades International (PBI), Justice and Peace, Group of Trainers for Peace, Pax Christi Haiti, Haitian Center for Teaching Peace. After having attended one-year intensive paralegal program at Florida Atlantic University (FAU) Mr. Pierre has been working with the Haitian community in south Florida by helping them to resolve immigration issues.

Ernst Pierre is a wonderful asset to facilitate your adoption as he speaks English, French and Creole and is our professional link between the authorities and agencies in both the US and Haiti.
